A new era begins

Brownie got out of her den and streched, the sun was shining, but something was wrong. It was un-usually quite without the pups. They were all grown up now, Brownie was sad. She saw Kaze sleeping peacefully, and thought of how much she loved him. She went to the creek and lurked around for a bit to try to catch a hare. She caught one and quitetly laid it down by Kaze's side so he would have breakfast when he woke up.

Kaze yawned as he slowly woke up. he noticed the hare and gave a smile to Brownie "thanks, honey" he said. he wasn't really hungry, but he took a bite of it anyway. he then walked over to Brownie and laid by her side.

Brownie sighed. It felt good for it to be just her and Kaze, but she missed the pups, they had all grown up and establised territorys of their own. "say honey," Brownie said,"Do you think we should ever have any more pups?"
