Outskirts!

Zam continued to think about his dead friend.... how he had fended off that lone wolf that stayed back after the pack had left... intent on finishing the injured Zamot off, How his friend had dragged him to his owners neigbors and then how his friend had helped him 'get back on his feet' again

Zam remembered how he and his friend were on that hunt, they killed the prey and were chatting happily, when a bullet came out of nowhere and hit his friend in the head, at least it had been a quick death, Zam had jumped up and hid in the grass as a hman came over and shot his friend again, and again, and again.....

Zam's head lowered in sorrow

Zam remembered finding out how his owners killers had apparently taken refuge with the wolves in this area and his plaight to find anyone who could help him kill them

"i cant wait any more!" husky yelled "the memories are to strong. lets start, lets go!" he said and looked at Zam and Silver.

Husky looked at Silver and smiled. he turned his head and looked at Zam. "what do you think Zam?" he asked.

"Hmm, its definatly late enough, lets go!" He said brightly

"okay" husky barked. and followed Zam.

Zam sped quietly to the perometer of ther village, "ready? remember, pretend you are guarding the village, don't try to hide, dont run, trot/walk, and stay by me, they ofen use teams of 3 dogs" Zam whispered

"i'm ready!" Husky said and started walking towards the village.

Zam, Husky and Silver approached the edge af the village, and began to walk through in a type of arrowhead formation, trying to look like they lived there.

Husky turned his head around. their where lots of humans here. "those two-legged killers" Husky whispered to himself.

"Cmon, The area where they are doing somthing is just up ahead..." Zam whispered back

"doing what? mushing? hunting?" Husky asked.

'No idea, I saw them building somthing the other day, and doing somthing another day..." Zam said...

"oh. then lets go" Husky said.

The three of them (yes River is still here, just waiting 4 her 2 post) padded towards the center of the village... and whatever thing awaited them there. . . . . . . .

Husky looked at the new building. "looks like a "mail office"" Husky said and kept looking at the building.

"Huh? Whats that?" Zam asked utterly confused as to what a 'mail office' is... {{What? post office??}}


"Umm.... what is that thing??" He asked, looking at a giant metal 'thing' with some green and brown city people near it, "and what are city dwellers doing here??"

"i've heard about lots of diffrent human buildings in the past. a friend once told me about it. i realy don't much about it" Husky said and kept looking at the building.

Silver looked at it for a moment. She knew some stuff about humans and cities because she was a pet once. "Mail Office... I think it's where humans send messages to each other. It usually takes a few days to send them though, I think. Not too convenient, is you ask me."

"Yes... you might as well run the message to them, it would be faster..." Zam said, "Anyway, is that thing over there.... I think it might be a tak? or a Tanka? or somthing like that.... I have seen one of thoes things bark, and when it did, it blew up a building!!"
