A Crystal Clear Day

Zelda peacefully drank from the water of Paradise Lake. She shook her fur, and lay down. On the horizon, the mountains loomed over the forests. Everything seemed so beautiful.

Husky came running over to Zelda. he also drank from the water. "beautyful day right?!" he said.

"Yeah," she said. "Nothing like the city. The humans seem to ruin everything, make it all ugly." She poked the water with her paw, and little ringlets outstretched from it.

"the humans? i hate those two-legs!" he said. he also poked to the water.

Zelda closed her eyes longingly. She had been scaling mountain-sides all day. The grass suddenly felt so soft. Her paw kept trailing about in the water, and, in a split second, brushed up against Husky's. It lulled away, with small waves behind.

Husky smiled to Zelda. he then licked Zelda on the chin. he wanted to be friends with her.

Zelda leaned into Husky, her head now resting on the side of his neck. The fastest friendship ever.

Husky closed his eyes. and felt like he really were in paradise.

Zelda nestled into Husky's soft fur. Nothing close to Paradise. Better than Paradise...

Husky laid his snout on Zelda's chest. Your right. much better

Zelda closed her eyes and smelled the sweet smell of nature. The water, foaming up onto the land, mixed with the beautiful smell of the flowers. This is what love smelled like...

Husky feeled a strange feeling. he really liked Zelda. "So this is how it feels to be in love " he said

Zelda smiled. She could feel what Husky felt. She crossed her paws. She was as content as possible.

Husky touched Zelda's snout with his own shout. he then closed his eyes and smiled.

Zelda let out a long sigh. She forgot about the war, the humans, everything around her. Paradise...

Husky didn't see anything but paradise. he and Zelda in paradise. he also forgot everything, the war, the other dogs, the wolves. the only thing he had in mind right now was Zelda.

Husky couldn't resist asking: Will you be my mate? he had never feeled like this before.

"OK," said Zelda, still in her trance.

Husky licked Zelda's snout and smiled n.n
