Another plan

"That's not what I meant. I meant that small dogs aren't worthless, and we need more of them on our side to act as sentries in this war, and the big dog thing I mean it's not like small dogs can't fight, I just mean that big dogs are in the front lines."

Lie came in. "I heard you needed small dogs. I can help." She looked wary around so many other dogs.

Cyc's face lit up. "Perfect. We have a small dog in our forces! Following our back-up plan for Neo and Zam, we need you to go out in the outskits of wolf territory, and, if they try to leave and they know that we have dogs and humans trailing them, run and tell us. We need a small dog like you for that so that wolves don't see you. It's perfect. And, while I was sleeping last nght, I hatched up a plan B. If this dosen't work, we could send some big dogs to lure the wolves into a forest battleground, and then the big dogs would split up, therefore splitting up the group of wolves likely to be following them, then hide with more big dogs. the wolves would march right into a... umm.... sniper's nest as the humans call it. They would walk right into an area where dogs lie in wait, and then.... BAM!!!!! A group of dogs and others on our team would pick them off one by one. A long plan, yes, but I think it's foolproof. Who likes it?"

Lie nodded. "Sounds good. You might want Shasta for that. I only came across him once, but he's pretty big-even for a malamute."

"I know you said you only saw Shasta once, but where do you think we could find him? I mean, a big malamute could really help."

"about the plan B, dont you think that many of us would be mistaken for being a wolf? what if the hunters began shooting at us? i think that we only should use a few dogs, maybe three or four. it would be to risky if we used everyone" Husky said.

"The hunters won't be involved in plan B, so we wouldn't need to worry."

Arwen seemed to wince a bit about Husky's comment on some dogs looking like wolves. She knew hunters wouldn't be involved in plan B,but it stung all the same.

"Now, as you were saying Lie, where is this Shasta?"

"hmm... i'm not sure if this "plan B" will work. i dont have any better plans, but i'm just not sure"

"Just wanting to know; what makes you think it wouldn't?"

"If we really must come to it,I hope it works." Arwen said,still a bit stung about the dogs-looking-like-wolves thing. She pushed the thought away. I HATE being half-wolf. she thought.

"wolves are smarter than that, they would probably think it would be to easy chasing us, i'm sure that they would do something unexpected"

"That's true. I should know. And,wolves can be VERY savage. I admit to going into a state of savagery* sometimes."

"Then we should imporvise. How do we do this in a way that they won't figure out that we've led them into a trap?"

"Maybe one of us could pretend to be wounded while the rest hide with the hunters."

"Hmmm.... good improvement. But after we seclect our Dadacamy Waward winning dog, as the humans say it, nobody else can volunteer. We should only have one, so it dosen't look like it's too simple."

"If you say so. This could be a dangerous task. Are you sure you want to go out there if needed?"

"Of course. If I die,I'll be resseroucted(sp?) at the Mystical Cave anyway. And,I still need to get a trophy from the damn winged wolf Vervanda.."

"how do we make the hunters wait?" Cloud asked and looked at Cyclone, Arwen and Husky.

"Plan A Will be launched on whoever stays behind."

"okay just wanted to know" Cloud replied.

"So, in my mind this means plan B will need to be launched first. Arwen, your'e up. Lead them back here and we will pummel them."
